Teacher of Mathematics
The Education Specialists are working as the recruitment partners for Our Ladys RC High School. Manchester.
The school is seeking to appoint a full time, main scale teacher of Mathematics for September 2012. There will be the option to commence at Easter which can e discussed at interview.
The school are looking for a person of vision, energy and with excellent organisational and inter-personal skills in order to contribute to our overall success. The post on offer is for a teacher of mathematics who will play a significant role in promoting the ethos of the school.
This is an exciting time to join the school as they continue to develop strategies to improve the quality of learning and teaching within the school. They are fortunate to also be in a new school with purpose built mathematics classrooms.
The school are looking for a dynamic and creative individual who can inform and influence the curriculum as we develop 21st Century Learning within the school. Active and practical learning approaches are currently being modelled across the school. Students excel in these activities due to the experience they gain through collaboration, problem solving and personal challenge.
As the school develops their teaching expertise across the school it has become clear they need to continue to develop the use of numeracy and application of functional learning across the school. The person appointed will have a key role to play within this.
Applications are welcome from highly motivated mathematics teachers for this exciting post in the school. This is a unique opportunity to take mathematics to new heights by building on our current progress. The successful person will work within the mathematics faculty and have an opportunity to play a key role in our whole school and community initiatives.
